Waterproofing

• Thanks to its special recipe and special sandy structure on its upper surface, it provides excellent adhesion to the foundation concrete to be poured on it, creating an impermeable surface. It does not separate from the surface.
• It provides excellent protection by preventing the water from advancing between the foundation concrete and waterproofing in case of possible point water leaks.

Basically, three different Epikon Proof systems can be used. One of three different systems is selected according to the ground water level, ground conditions and the nature of the building.

It is recommended to apply the 2nd layer of Epikon Proof EP 200 Horizontal Protector on deep foundations exposed to pressurized water.

In Single Face Molded Curtains;

Since the foundation pit can be opened as much as the building foundation area in adjacent structures, which are the result of intense urbanization, one-sided curtain wall applications are required. With a self-adhesive formula, Epikon Proof EP 300 is designed for vertical, single-sided formwork curtain waterproofing applications.

It is applied in a single layer vertically.

With its special formula and sandy structure on it, it provides excellent adhesion to fresh concrete after static curtain application.

In traditional foundation bundling applications, waterproofing is adhered to lean concrete layer. There is no adhesion between the poured foundation concrete and the waterproofing membrane. Therefore, water leaks caused by ground movements or other reasons may progress along the foundation concrete.

Traditional Waterproofing

In PROOF systems, the membrane, which adheres very strongly to the concrete thanks to its special formula and sandy upper surface, does not allow water to enter the surface of the carrier foundation concrete and does not allow water to progress along the surface. The membrane and the carrier concrete surface fully integrate and start to work as a single surface. It becomes easy to detect water leaks and intervene later, especially on curtain walls.
